B Fine Arts and M Fine Arts in painting (First Class) from Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan, Viswa
Bharati Viswa Bharati University, 1982-1987 and 1987-1989. Advanced Diploma in Stained Glass Painting
and Print Making from The Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design, London 1993 - 1994.

Fellowships:
Junior Research Fellowship in the field of Glass Painting in 1992 and 1993 and Senior Fellowship
for the year of 2008 and 2009 from The Ministry of Human Resources & Development, Department of
Culture, Government of India. Invited on a Fellowship by The Creative Glass Center of America, USA to
participate as a Fellow artist in the Spring Session from January to April, 2000 ( three months) and 2004
(three month).

Second feature film; 'Maati-O-Manush' (The Soil and the People) in Bengali Directed and Produced in 2009.
Film received Jury Award in New Hope Film Festival, USA, in 2010 and nominated for Special Jury Award in
Religion Today Film Festival, Italy, 2010.
Film was exhibited in the International Film Festivals in India and abroad.
